From scan to export, learn how to design your cases step by step…
Enter the case reference, then import your scans in the “Drag and drop your files” area.
The upload starts automatically, and your files are labeled and instantly visible in the viewer.
Select the type of prosthesis and the target tooth, then review the preselected machine, material and shade.

Circle One Design generates a crown in under a minute, which you can validate or refine using smart tools directly from the interface.
Once the design is validated, the export files are generated.
Review them in the viewer, then start production in one click with OneClick Manufacturing or download them as a .zip file.

Circle Credits are our flexible credit system that allows you to design dental prostheses according to your actual needs.
One designed and exported prosthetic tooth costs 1 Circle Credit.
To purchase Circle Credits, contact your distributor. All your unused Circle Credits remain available indefinitely: simply top up your Circle Credits balance whenever you need more.
For each case, you are notified of the cost in Circle Credits in the top right corner of the case. The Circle Credits for the case are deducted at the time the design is validated.
Note: You can reset a design that has already been validated, but this will result in an additional consumption of Circle Credits.
Circle One supports STL, PLY, and OBJ file formats.
DCM files (3Shape DCM) and plaster based models are not supported at this time.
Bite scans are optional but highly recommended: they enable accurate occlusal analysis and improve the calculation of the orientation of elements.
For optimal efficiency, we recommend:
For a complete arch, you can create one bite scan per half-arch,
For a half-arch, center the bite scan over the preparation and scan the adjacent teeth,
Capture the bite scan after preparation,
Do not scan soft tissues: if they appear on the bite scan but not on the main scan, this will create areas without overlap, which may prevent proper alignment of the scans.
If your scanner does not export a bite scan, you can usually enable this option in the export settings.
Yes. The added prescan is available during the Design step, allowing you to keep a reference of the tooth’s original anatomy to facilitate the design and optimize esthetics.
Circle One goes even further: our AI can interpolate between the automatic proposal and the prescan shape. You can freely choose the result that suits you best — from the AI-optimized design to the original anatomical form.
We recommend a resolution of 150,000 vertices, which provides an ideal balance between model quality and processing performance.
You can design crowns, inlays, onlays, overlays, and veneers… and more types of prostheses will be added soon. For now, it is not possible to create a case with multiple products.
From your dashboard, click “My Cases” to view the full list of your cases.
You can sort or search for a specific case using the filters or the search bar.
The automatic proposal is generated by analyzing your scans and taking several key parameters into account, including tooth anatomy, occlusion, proximal contacts, minimum thickness requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
Our interactive AI maintains occlusal contacts, insertion axis, and functional balance in real time, helping you obtain a design that is both functional and easy to manufacture.
Yes, you can freely modify the automatic proposal using the tools, thanks to our interactive AI.
When making adjustments, Circle One automatically preserves critical parameters in real time: minimum thickness, insertability, minimum distance to adjacent and opposing teeth, and functional balance.
Each adjustment is simulated instantly to ensure the structural and functional integrity of your prosthesis.
No. It is not currently possible to save your design.
Yes. You can use the Undo/Redo buttons available in the interface.
If there is no activity during the Design step for a few minutes, the case will be automatically closed.
This helps us manage server resources efficiently and keep the cost of Circle Credits optimal.
Yes. The milling tool diameter (tool compensation) is set during the configuration of your machine in “My Equipment.” Circle One integrates this constraint into the modeling to ensure your design is fully machinable.
This setting is also applied in the printing settings (0 mm by default – adjustable, with a recommended value of 0.3 mm) to prevent residual resin in the angular areas of the crown’s intaglio.
Once generated, your production files are available for download.
They include:
- the modeled prosthesis in STL format
- for milling only: the finish line in PTS format
- the case summary for production in JSON format
All export files are automatically oriented according to your chosen manufacturing method (milling or 3D printing).
You can download them as a ZIP file or in One Click Manufacturing (OCM) format.
The OCM format lets you automatically launch your manufacturing software upon download when the Circle One Manufacturing module is installed.
Yes. Once your manufacturing files are generated, they remain available in your case under the Export step or in the case details.
You can download them as many times as you need, at no additional cost.
One Click Manufacturing automatically launches your manufacturing software as soon as your production files are downloaded.
It is provided as a small application that you install on your computer.
